      Joy!

Jundo' s talk resonates. A garden metaphor encapsulates and unifies so purely.

Arrived tardy after unplugging an old woman's house gutter. The odiferous mass removed (much like pulling a weed) is repurposed as fertilizer (much like a sterilized weed).

"A weed is a plant whose virtues have not been discovered." - R.W. Emerson

Thanks to all for the moment of discovery.

I tried but couldn't follow due to household duties.

I apologize for jumping in unmuted. The smartphone mute control showed as mute but wasn't.

Many thanks Daizan for muting it for me.

I will listen to Jundo's talk later, the sound was kind of chopped and I wasn't alone and quiet

        Gassho,
        Walter.

Thank you all. I also had trouble with the audio a bit. But all in all I WEEDED it out.

I finally got to sit with Genki Roshi's sangha and Jundo... too bad the audio on the talk wasn't clear.

            Still I sat

Thank you Jundo and Genki Roshi.

Wonderful to sit with you all.

Well this was the wrong thread to miss for a few days... I missed so much. At least I know what I'm watching during tomorrows breaks!

It was wonderful to introduce my first teacher (Jundo) to my new teacher Genmitsu Roshi. We really had a wonderful experience. After a tour of the Zen Garland Sanctuary I brought Jundo and Leon back to lovely New Jersey for a hike on the Appalachian Trail with a few other Zen Garland sangha members who could not attend Sunday services. We couldnt have asked for a more beautiful day to do it.

After that it was off to Brooklyn! More good times with Jundo, Leon, and my son Charlie. It was really great connecting with Jundo and getting the honor of meeting Leon. Safe travels to you both!

Sounds like everyone had a great time Chuck.

I'm just going to sit quietly and pretend I'm not jealous
