Thank you Myozan. Of course when we can let go of that "obligation" in other things also, then we aren't spending time in a check list but we can BE with the kids, with our work, with our dinner.
Thank you Myozan. This was also just what I needed to hear today. I can have obsessive-compulsive tendencies towards the maintenance of certain habits as a means of trying to control my environment - and sometimes zazen can also feed this addictive type behaviour. So it was good to be reminded of this "unhealthy for me" obligation to sit - and then just to sit zazen!
