You have caught me on a day when I am on a roll against "fluffy" Buddhism and "hocus-pocus" Buddhism. Just a coincidence, I think, because of a series of posts by folks that touched on those issues [like that "Little Buddha" movie clip]. But I am a bit critical of this translation too for reasons not unrelated to all that.
