I know it's not exactly on topic but I'm just curious if there are any chess players on the forum and if anyone is interested in getting a game or two going?

oooooooh. I'm not that good and a little rusty but would like a game if you are still free?
I couldn't sign up as plankton (there's millions of us) but am roper.

I know what you mean Harry. I do own a Go board, but I'm lost as to the more subtle points of the strategy.

I'd also like to learn Shogi.

The only Go server I can think of off the top of my head is at Yahoo games. I'll take a look around and see what I can find.

I love chess. I'd be more than happy to play a game in the future. Right now I'm too busy to comit to a game. I just took a promotion at work and also need to devote my time to supporting my father right now . . we just my grandma but keep me in mind for a game in a couple of months okay?

Yes, the KGS server is a nice place to play. I used to play there once upon a time, though I was and still am a newbie. I'm not so much into chess, but if anyone is interested in a game of Go I'm willing to give it a go.

I play go on KGS, where I'm currently 4K. I've been playing for a long time, but haven't played much in recent months because of health problems. I play under the name Dogen (yep...), so if you ever see me, say hi.
