Please Be Active! - Koji would want that! :-)

Dear All,

I get the feeling that our place has become very quiet suddenly, including the Precept Reflections for Jukai folks. I am feeling that, maybe, Rev. Kojitsu sudden passing is one cause??

I want to encourage everyone to please be active here, sit Zazen, study some Dharma, chat and be joyous. I know that Koji would want that. As his wife told me, his great wish was to keep making the Dharma available. So, the best way to honor Koji is by doing just that.

For Zen folks, this is not only a sad time, but a celebration of life.

Indeed, Roshi, the passing of Koji was quite a surprise, but like a river, the Dharma wheel must keep turning. Count on my contribution to the sangha; Koji’s death touched me and inspired me to follow his example and, like him, spread joy and the Dharma until my last day.

My friends! Listen to the call of our teacher, let's continue with our mission!
