Hans,
in case the problem persists, I can offer to try working on it together, maybe we can find out whats going on or at least how to work around it, just pm me with a time suggestion when to approach this. Gassho

so AGAIN I tried to invite all of you to the Thursday Zazen, and again Google tells me that I am not allowed to invite the 152 members of the Treeleaf group. I did some research and found the following written on an official Google page:
"Guest limit for invitations
You can invite up to 500 attendees to single events and up to 100 attendees to recurring events.
To accommodate events with a guest list that exceeds the limit, you can invite the attendees through groups, allowing you to expand the total number of people you can invite to 10,000 people for one-time events and 5,000 people for recurring events
To allow for guest list of over 10,000, you can create additional events for every 10,000 invited guests."
So maybe Google is thinking that my invitations are a recurring event and will not let me invite all of you because of that.
Please send me a google message on google plus ( Hans.stucken@gmail.com ) five minutes before the hangout time ( 9PM Berlin time ) , so that I can invite those of you who want to sit manually.
Hans,
I might be perfectly wrong, but I think its actually much simpler. As I understand it, you cannot invite to an EVENT, but who needs the EVENT ? You can always start a HANGOUT right when you are ready to do so and invite all the Treeleaf community (I dont think there is such a limit). This avoids the forth and back with single people telling you they want to join (and remember people tend to come last minute or a bit later). Hope this helps

When I create an event, I make a duplicate one. It carries over all the people from the week before and even this week I didn't have a problem. I thought that was the same as a recurring event, but apparently not. So, I would suggest when you are ready to set up the next sit, go to the previous week's event page and using the drop down arrow to select "Duplicate Event". Usually the time information is automatically corrected for the current week. It is very easy and, as I said, I have never had the problem with an invite limit.
following Myoku's suggestions I invited everyone (152 people according to the group count) yesterday evening, and three usual suspects did join me for Zazen. I have no idea to be honest, why you weren't able to see the invitation on/in your google+ page.
@Dosho I'll try the "duplicate option" next week. I have zero idea where that number limitation came from, since it worked fine for many months.
Thank you for your reply. I used to get the invite every Thursday (although, the idiosyncrasies of G+ did not always let me join) but I didn't receive any invite or email yesterday. Ho Hum I will try again next week.
after more than three weeks without a properly working internet connection, I am truly back online at home now and will be able to continue with my regular Thursday Zazen sittings. 30 minutes of Zazen will start at 9PM in Germany, 5AM Japan time, 2PM US/Central time.
Zazen will be followed by reciting the
