"Congratulations! You've won a free trip to Earth!"

I was listening to a recent episode of the Treeleaf podcast on master Dogen's Fukanzazengi, and at some point it reminded me of something...

Something funny I recall from a cartoon years ago, I think it might have been an episode of Animaniacs, was a quick scene where someone spun a wheel, and hit a space where they won a prize. Lights and bells and buzzers go off, confetti falls. Whoever was playing the announcer read a card that said "Congratulations! You've won a FREE TRIP TO EARTH!"

Celebrations for a moment, before the winner asks, "Wait, but where do I start from?"

Sadly, I can't find a record of this phrase being used anywhere. Ever, apparently. So it's possible I imagined the whole thing or I'm misremembering enough to not be able to find it online.

I love that! It reminds me of what Tibetan Buddhists refer to as 'the' precious human life'.

We have all won a free trip to Earth. What we do with it is up to us.
