Shobogenzo in Kanji text as written by Dogen Zenji

    Hi Treeleafers,

Do you know where I can get the original Shobogenzo in Kanji as written by Dogen Zenji. Do you know any resource for that? Thank you

Hi, Mujo. Sure! Here's Nishijima Roshi's translation into modern Japanese. Is this what you're looking for? SHOBOGENZO LINK

Hi Bion, Thank you for the link. But I am looking for the old Japanese version.

Ah, ok... Sorry. The only other source I know of is this: SHOBOGENZO LINK This too might be a translation. I am sure Jundo Roshi can help when he's around later

            Hi Shui,

At first I thought you meant "in his calligraphy." There are a very few examples of that for some sections. It is not Shobogenzo, but here is one of the Fukanzazengi versions in Dogen's hand:

However, I think you mean just the classical Japanese. Here it is. Remember that there are different versions, longer and shorter, depending on which essays were included or left out. This has most, with some variations:
