I want to give away dharma books in the UK

I'm starting to clear out a lot of my books, and I want to reduce my zen and dharma books by about half. Does anyone in the UK have any ideas who I can give them to? A zen center, perhaps, that would be interested in them? I'm not going to make a list, I just want to pack up a bunch of books and send them off. The are all "good" dharma books by reputable writers. (And none of them are by Jundo.)

    Hi Ryumon

I wish I could think of somewhere but wonder if Lana Berrington, who runs a Zen group in London as well as the Facebook Soto Zen group, might have an idea or wish to have them for her own group? Otherwise there Is Stonewater Zen in Liverpool and their affiliated centres which might be interested.

      Hi Ryūmon,
I am a chaplain in a multi-faith team for the University of Lincoln (UK). The chaplaincy building includes a small faith library which has a zero budget. Any students or staff can borrow books. This year we have around 12,500 students. All the books have been purchased and donated by past or present chaplains. If you feel this would be a suitable home for your donation, please contact me.

Any words I write here are merely the thoughts of an apprentice priest, just my opinions, that's all.

I’ve boxed up 20 kg of zen books to send to Seiko. Thanks for the replies, and I hope these books will be read by many more people than they were while sitting on my shelves.

          Shameless request:
if you happen to have copy of Reimagining Zen in a Secular Age by van der Braak in your collection I would happily exchange for beer tokens/earth £s whatever?

I've never had that one. Sorry.

Email me, Michael. I have a PDF I can share. Since it is an academic book found in university libraries, rare and expensive, I think it okay to share one copy.

                Hi Ryūmon,
The huge box of books arrived safely today. Thank you for your generosity.
May the merits of this gift of the Dharma be shared by all beings!

                    Thanks Jundo
I already have the Terebess pdf but being old prefer to actually have a book in the hand.
(It wakes me up when it crashes to the ground if I fall asleep.)
I was looking at my bookshelf the other day I thinking which one would I grab if a fire broke out.
The answer was van der Braak but as I don't have a copy then Musao Abe Zen and Western Thought.
