    Being allowed to fail

    Hello everyone,

one of the great features of this Unsui corner is IMHO the opportunity for us senior Unsui to try our hand at really failing badly when it comes to teaching Dharma

It's wonderful to be somehow protected by our teachers and our community, whilst at the same time being a bit more out in the open.

So, since I've had a few days to consider what to post next, I'd like to offer you the choice between two topics which I'd like to comment on at some point in the future, depending on where YOUR (whoever is reading this) interest lies.

So you'd have the choice between two MEGA topics:

Approaching the Perfection of Wisdom teachings

    and/or

    Approaching the Lotus Sutra

With these topics I'll not focus on academic information (if you want that there's plenty of books out there), but will try - and probably fail badly - to find a way to relate our own experience to these topics. Because that's where things get interesting. If it was all about intellectual stuff, we wouldn't need dharma practitioners and could all just listen to academics.

So if you find the time, by all means tell me which one you'd find more interesting.

I vote for the Lotus Sutra, as I know very little about it.

Lotus please. I've got it downloaded so a discussion tied with my reading would be quite timely.

I'd rather hear your views on Capitalism and the Dharma (ducks his head).

                            Hey Chet,

the Prajna Paramita introduction is free. The limited-availability advanced course will set you back 2000 Euros though. On the up side, you'll get a free fake-silver key chain with the sanskrit mantra engraved and a Go-away-bad-Karma deodorant spray.

                            Gassho,
