    Time to resurrect the Poetry Thread

    ...for the posting of random zen-related, or buddhist-related, or non-attachment-related poetry, to which we will not become attached... or buddhistified,... or zenny. Just... words. Maybe words that twist in your head a bit. Or words that twist the world. Just... whatever.
















    I'll start.

    But why?

    It occurs to me that my attachment to this body is entirely arbitrary. All the evidence is subjective.

      Here's one of my favorites from way back- I wrote the whole thing in response to another post, but this excerpt stands alone.

      ...and all the vignettes and soft on the edges
      and in my head now the being-ness
      the pure color of it all,
      painted on a dark board in oranges and whites,
      the music of the numerous lives squeezed in..
