    Got it, most likely won't have the ability to follow along with the book club. But it should make for pleasant reading at sea.
    Yours in practice,
    Jordan ("Fu Ken" translates to "Wind Sword", Dharma name givin to me by Jundo, I am so glad he did not name me Wind bag.)

      So how will we do this; knock off one Koan/week? (Kidding) I feel that we are going to have no option but come out with something and make fools of my/ourselves - the objective maybe

        I think this is all a trick by Taigu. He gets us interested in this book, and we all wait for him, but the koan is in our waiting. :-)
        I know nothing.

          Yes. In Japanese and Chinese paintings, the empty space is as talkative as the ink. Can you hear?

            ... that is a very beautiful painting - though the 'hearing' is not with my ears.

              If that's the case, then I've been saying an awful lot over the past undefined time period :shock:

              I love the painting too, and am really looking forward to delving into the book. Koans always make me feel dumb, so maybe I'll learn just a whole lot!

                In a spring outside time, flowers bloom on a withered tree;
                you ride a jade elephant backwards, chasing the winged dragon-deer;
                now as you hide far beyond innumerable peaks--
                the white moon, a cool breeze, the dawn of a fortunate day
