I have not but on a gaming forum a few years ago we used jirc (java irc) and it was pretty easy to use for most, This looks similar. Would folks like to revisit this, if so I could set aside some time and set things up.

Does Treeleaf have an IRC channel or other live text-based chat space for people to hang out in? Is anyone else interested in such a thing?

a few years back I had and #treeleaf on dalnet I think. We had a few folks get set up and check it out but in the end it was my self and mica idling in there

Haha, actually, IRC is pretty old school as far as online hangouts go. Basically, I just meant "do we have a chat room somewhere?"

I love video chat with G+ but can't always do that. At work, my teammates and I hang out in a text-based chat room all day so we can collaborate if need be. Was just curious of other leafers were doing that anywhere as well.
