      Thank you so much.

For me, Thich used to seem well, too nice. Too fluffy, too kind. I came to Zen with an idea of the "Zen Master". Always cutting down the student to nothing. I embraced that view, and I still fall back from time to time, of the prajna sword. It's a bit of an ego trip, really. I feel mighty with my Zen Sword, cutting to the true nature!

Well cutting my a**. If all you do is cut, you never let the flowers bloom. Yes, weeds need be pulled, bugs plucked off tomatos, but just let things be, let them grow and preen as necessary.

Thank you again, it's things like this that let me know I have a long way to grow into just being me.

        Hi Taylor,

There is definitely a very sweet side to Thich, almost too sweet for quite a few people. There is room for all sorts of style in the Zen world, and the sword of Prajna can have a sweet cut too.
His community is great and his teachings very inspiring.

Thank you for sharing that Fugen. Thich Nhat Hahn has always been an inspiration to me.
