Hello,
When I broke my collar bone a few years ago I had to go to a doctor to get it fixed. I knew that Zazen just wouldn't do the trick. With illnesses of body and mind ... sometimes you just gotta go see the doc.
Gassho,

In a spring outside time, flowers bloom on a withered tree;
you ride a jade elephant backwards, chasing the winged dragon-deer;
now as you hide far beyond innumerable peaks--
the white moon, a cool breeze, the dawn of a fortunate day
The body and mind are so interconnected. My knee injury affected my mind. Doctors treatment plans need to be questioned and verified, especially when it comes to medication. Nobody knows your body/mind better than you do. I was about 90% healed and yesterday reinjured it, trying to come back too fast. Things could be a lot worse, like sitting in a square in Bahrain with the police beatin on ya.
