    NEW FEATURE: MONDAYS with TAIGU

    Hi All,

    I am very content to announce a new feature on the 'sit-a-long' ... a weekly talk each Monday by our own Rev. Taigu!

                  Great talk, Taigu...however, maybe I'm saying that because I agree.

                  Shikantaza is not an exercise of will, and I think you pointed that out very well.

                              Thank you all. Next week, it will be a chat on a famous talk given by Dogen at the beginning of Ango in Daibutsu temple and recorded by Ejo. The theme will be the circle, or "enjoying the moon and the flowers to the full" as Ryokan expresses it in a wonderful poem.
                              As to know, Fugen, why on Mondays...Well, let's see... Monday is Moon day, Moon is known as the symbol of awakening and... :wink: ...
