I think the language has failed us here. What are you saying? 'Who let them in that delusion?' does not register in a way that I can understand what you are asking.

Oh! I think some people may just be bound and determined to think that way. Perhaps zen teachers get tired of slapping down egos in zen drag? Or maybe they figure if given enough time, the people who do this will eventually catch on to their own self-defeating approach.
