    Lay robes (help! Lol)

The set of lay robes that I ordered arrived! I am super excited, and also, confused. I think I figured most of it out... The skirt part (I know that's not the right word) with the LONG ties is baffling me. What is the correct way to wear this?

Please excuse the bathroom pic, it's the only full length mirror in the house.

    Hi, Kelly!
Is it one long robe? If so, you tie long tie on the right side to the tie inside the robe on the left and then close the robe by tying left side tie to right side tie under your right armpit . Does that sound doable? :d

      Hi Bion,

It's a pleated skirt with two long ties (I think one set of ties is longer than the other) and a shirt type robe that I assume goes over top, that has a snap. And a white collar that has a snap as well. There are no ties on the shirt/jacket portion.

Oh, that’s got me a bit stumped, then. I’d have to see them before I could possibly try to say anything more [emoji1]

It is a hakama, I believe (hard to see in the photo.) See if this helps ...

            It does, thank you!

I forgot to mention, they're the lay robes from Still Sitting.

              Hi Kelly,
I have worn a hakama as lay robes with OBC. The kimono 'shirt' is tucked in.
