Just gently bumping this up again. It seems like we dropped the ball on this one, and it wasn’t added to the calendar, but.. should anyone see this comment, you can check the original post on top for times and link.

No no. Zoom room as usual and YouTube for one way. It’s just not showing up on the Calendar

                Thank you Bion..I learned something.

Jundo, thank you for the setting up this talk. I revisited the 5 Remembrances with my wife right after the talk. Getting older and just dealing with a close family member’s death the talk was good to hear because it shared a commonality of emotions.

Looking forward to the recorded version, I'd hoped to attend live but got called to the police station to do a mental health assessment, shame because for once I was up at the right time because of leaving work late in the first place!

What a heart wrenching talk. I was in tears. Thank you so much Hogetsu for being so raw and sharing with us. Thank you Jundo for making this talk possible.

                      In gratitude, [emoji1431]

I have much appreciation for the very personal and moving discussion Hogetsu Roshi.

Thank you Jundo for making this opportunity possible.

I have a lot to learn; take anything I say that sounds like teaching with a grain of salt.

One question i would have asked Hogetsu if i could have found the words (still not articulating this well): As a member of a Sangha, mother and wife, do her sons grasp the benefit of her practice in their upbringing? Did her husband? As one who embraces the Five Remembrances, does she think she was able to support her sons’ grief over their father’s passing from a more centered place than the people in the grief support group she participated in?

I suspect that even families who may not all share core beliefs benefit from a family member living by the Precepts.

Thank you for today’s talk and chat!

                            Gassho,
