Tricycle: New Article by Jundo Published

It is always nice to see our teacher's writings published for all to see: Making Endless Bodhisattva Vows available to read at Tricycle Review if you have a subscription or have not used all your free articles this month. Many members of our sangha contributed to Jundo Roshi's creation of this article through their suggestions of additional Bodhisattva vows.

If you can't see it at Tricycle, you can read the text in our own forum.

    Gassho,
    Nengei
    Sat today. LAH.
    遜道念芸 Sondō Nengei (he/him)

Please excuse any indication that I am trying to teach anything. I am a priest in training and have no qualifications or credentials to teach Zen practice or the Dharma.

    “Let me respectfully remind you
Life and death are of supreme importance.
    Time swiftly passes by
    And opportunity ist lost.
Each of us should strive to awaken.
    Awaken, take heed,
Do not squander your life.“ - Life and Death and The Great Matter

Nothing I say is a teaching, it's just my own opinion.

I have a lot to learn; take anything I say that sounds like teaching with a grain of salt.

Oh I am sorry, when my childish brain sees "Tricycle" and a person's name, I jump straight to a mental picture of that person riding a three-wheeled bike.

Don't worry, I have already told myself to sit in the naughty corner.
