For folks who would like to hear about Master Dogen, Upaya Zen Center has a nice program coming up online. It features, among others, friend of Treeleaf, Dr. Steven Heine, the wonderful writer Ruth Ozeki, and the great translator of Dogen, Kaz Tanakashi. It is free, but a little donation to them is nice.
Zen Master Eihei Dogen initiated an uncompromised Zen monastic tradition in Japan almost eight hundred years ago. He was a sublime thinker.
