A Portrait of Nishijima Roshi by Nengei (our Sangha Artist in Residence)

JUNDO: I AM TAKING THE LIBERTY OF MOVING NENGEI's POST HERE, FROM OUR ART SECTION, SO THAT EVERYONE CAN APPRECIATE THE WORK. HAVING KNOWN NISHIJIMA ROSHI, I FEEL AS IF HE IS ABOUT TO STEP OFF THE CANVAS.

I am pleased to post this finished (I think) portrait of someone dearly loved by all of us here at Treeleaf Zendo. I will post another photo after I frame it.

    At Tokei-in
51x61cm (20x24inches), oils on strteched Belgian linen.

    Gassho,
    Nengei

    I like that.
Might there be a print run?

          Speechless!
Where can we order fine-art prints of this, Nengei?

I do not think that we can charge for this picture, even if just to cover costs (or maybe just for actual printing costs and postage, but nothing more.)
