I was not expecting to be as emotional and introspective as the jukai ceremony approaches. I went through the "cold feet" phase earlier in the week, and then upon reflection realized the importance to myself of the commitment I am about to make - to my family, my sangha, to all beings. Your support and companionship in this forum has helped bring me to this day. I'd like to thank you for your presence and contribution.

My sincere congratulations to all of you taking part in the Jukai ceremony shortly. I am very proud of your all for your dedication, and I will enjoy watching you in a couple of hours.

I look forward to the next Jukai as I do feel prepared to make the commitment.
