No,no.. What I mean is that in the west, we have the habit of congratulating each other before things happen! [emoji1] 物事が起こる前に私たちはお互いを祝福します ( that is probably poorly written in Japanese! I hope it makes sense)

I very much appreciate your effort. You do a very good job at expressing yourself as clearly as possible! I also appreciate your perspective on things and I know you are a dedicated and determined monk! [emoji3526]

Each of us is trying to find a path to the pathless.
Trying to find joy during the journey to nothing and no-joy.
As Humans, after all, we must look forward , of course to understand the emptiness.
Milestones, however delusional, come and go, but they leave memories too.
All dedicated to buddha; even our expectations and paths, our requirements and qualifications. All begin and end in Buddha.
I don't congratuate before celemony,already sew Rakusu,kesa,and have Oryo-ki?
Yes, they have sewn Kesa, Rakusu and receive their bowls.
And you do not know that Master Dogen congratulated those who receive the Kesa in Shukke Tokudo? You do not know Kesa Kudoku nor Shukke Kudoku, his celebration of donning the Kesa and Leaving Home. This is Master Dogen's way.

I do not want to think you and new monks leave home or not.
Dear Onkai, Nengei, and Koushi, knowing you and witnessing your extraordinary commitment to the Dharma has been both a joy and a privilege. Deep bows for your devoted and sincere practice [emoji120][emoji120][emoji120]
