Thanks for encouraging people to get this done, Jundo. On my last colonoscopy, the doctor said he removed some things that had a "100% chance of becoming colon cancer" if not taken out. So why not get this done?

      It's 2022, 16 years after Jundo's message.
It is important; I've just had what I call a two-end-oscopy. During the preparation phase, at home and in the day surgery pre-op environment, I use the waiting time as a time for zazen.

Yes, as a 51 yr. old...I had my first go around. I had heard no anethesia in Japan...sounds like I have confirmation on that. Zazen certainly has helped with dental procedures...I do not know if I am ready to do a colonoscopy that way!

Glad all is well, Jundo -- and your humorous post was also a "kick in the rear" (pun intended) that I needed. My docs have been after me for several years -- due to family history -- to get this done. Thanks to family matters and illnesses, I was not able to. Your post stuck in my mind, however, and I just mentioned to my husband about time off to get this done. Hope that I will be as successful as Jundo Roshi has been. [emoji120]
