Inviting Treeleaf to another Rohatsu 2021 retreat. Now in Spanish!

Hello dear sangha,

As you know, we have a Spanish speaking sister sangha called Ryokan Zen Group. We are about to celebrate our own Rohatsu called El Rohats-o. Just kidding

I want to invite you all to sit with us Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th from 6:00 AM (Mexico City/Denver) till 6:00 PM. In Europe it will begin at 1:00 PM (Madrid) until 1:00 AM.

Our ceremony, Oryoki and dharma talk will be in Spanish, but Zazen and Kinhin don't need translation. So please come!

If you can't sit the whole retreat, please feel free to join in during any Kinhin period.

(Just a little note about Oryoki. It's going to be a modified version because most of the people here don't have bowls and it will be their first experience. So, I had to adapt. All the chants will be the same as we do in Treeleaf, only in Spanish. Next retreat I will lead a proper Oryoki ceremony).

Wonderful! I notice that you are doing the Antai-ji style 50 minute Zazen! That's serious sitting, for heart, mind and ... other, lower parts.

I was going to suggest that we just send our Treeleaf Zazenkai to your place this week, but the times actually do not overlap.

This will be our second two-day long retreat. I have been slowly leading the sangha to endure these events. Next stop will be 4 days Sesshin ��

Hopefully, that will be next year.

I got a message that only authorized people could attend the retreat and it asked for my email address as well as the password. It didn't accept my email combined with the password. I'm glad to hear that that the retreat went well and was well attended.
