Hello everyone. I just finished watching "The Zen Mind" by Jon Braeley, a travelogue/documentary of Zen in Japan, on the Kanopy channel, which connects to my local library. Beautiful scenery, temples, gardens and a good explanation of Zen today. I would recommend this to everyone.
Interesting Zen Film

Thank you, Dick. Kannopy does not appear to be available in Japan, maybe not all places. So, slthough it is Amazon, I note that it is also available for a few dollars to watch there, and perhaps on other streaming services.
Thank you for the recommendation, I look forward to watching it! Of course, maybe I will post a review.
A zen journey across Japan to discover the true nature of zen in the monasteries and zen centers that have until now remained closed to the outside. Experience the daily life of a zen monk inside the monastery and the practice of zazen or seated meditation where each day the monks follow a path to enlightenment. This is the Zen Mind.

PS - Alas, even Amazon is not working overseas for me. Perhaps "The Zen Mind" does not reach everywhere after all!Last edited by Jundo; 10-25-2020, 12:19 AM.ALL OF LIFE IS OUR TEMPLEComment
