Dear All,
I would like to recommend a series on Netflix, particularly to people interested in alternative and holistic medicine. I am not expert in such things, and I am often skeptical about many claims made by some advocates of various treatments, but I found the episodes a good balance of viewpoints showing extreme advocates, skeptics, medical researchers including many who point out serious health dangers (as well as critics who discuss the financial side in which these cures become big business or even scams), and those who fairly discuss reasonable possible benefits. I found the episodes balanced.
There are only six, discussing such treatments as "essential oils," bee stings, breast milk, ayahuasca, fasting and tantric sex (or, at least, what many New Agey folks think is "tantra"), and I assume that there will be more episodes in the series in the future.
