ATTENTION: Special Zazenkai with Zen/Dogen Historian Dr. Steven Heine
Thank you so much, everyone, and especially Professor Heine. I got the feeling here, and even with the book, that we were just scratching the surface of his Dogen knowledge.
Thank you Jundo for organising this talk, and professor Steven Heine for sharing his knowledge. This talk has motivated me to start reading Dogen again. It's an understatement to say Dogen is difficult to comprehend, but hopefully Jundo's book will make it easier to understand. I have already pre-ordered Jundo's book so can't wait until October.
There were some (perfectly simple) complications with getting the recording of Professor Heine's presentation, but it is uploaded to youtube now and is "processing". Hopefully it will be available for posting in the next few hours. Stay tuned!
Deep bows to all,

One complications involved some goats and Sekishi's dog which ate a stick of butter during Zazen (apparently, bad for dogs, although maybe not for the goats?). Don't ask.

Thank you Sekishi
I was worried that I'd miss out on his talk. I did try to get up at 2am but my body refused to cooperate until 4am but I made it to my first Tonglen circle sitting. Silver linings and all that.

Thank You, Jundo for this in depth discussing- of which the-- my skim is not there, I have the complete works of Dogen in my Kindle, 512 gig available, I've come to appreciate Jakuden and Kokuu, our own avid scholars, come to appreciate you so much; how much my own study of Buddhism, my own Ango, my own understanding of Genjokoan falls so very short of any understanding at all. Please forgive my shortsightedness.
