    All of life is sacred

A short video with English subtitles and an excellent example of both community education and the respect I personally believe we should afford all of the critters we share this magnificent rock with.

Big deal. I took a centipede out of the bathroom sink last week.

I just heard that they have these in Washington State and Canada. Well, we have them around our house this time of year (saw one yesterday). They are found around Asia, and I know that they have made their way to Europe/UK and elsewhere too.

Found a hive out back in our field a couple of years ago, and the city workers immediately came in hazmat suits to dispatch the occupants (while I chanted the Heart Sutra from inside the safety of our house).

They have bitten a visitor to our place, who fortunately we were able to get to hospital in time.

          Watch your beehives, Shoka!
