    Re: THE FOUR NOBLE TRUTHS

I'll try to do the sitting with y'all Saturday, I think it works out to earlish in the morning for me. Was going to attend a Theravada/Insight meditation group tonight but had to help out my brother due to car trouble instead . . . no harm I suppose. I think helping out family when they need help has something to do w/ the Eightfold Path.

    Thank you.

You can also just google "current time japan" and that will give it to you right away. Then you have to add or subtract the hours to where you are.

And, of course, there is time by the "Zen Wall Clock" ...

I found this link which may be useful to some, it'll convert Japan time to local time when given a date in Japan time.

I'm horrible at time calculation, hence the find ;-)

    THE FOUR NOBLE TRUTHS

    Hi,

I have posted on the Leaf Blog, as part of our "Heart Sutra" series of "Sit-a-Longs", the first of a series of talks on

    The Four Noble Truths,

among the most basic of basic Buddhist teachings. New folks especially may want to give a listen, but it is a good reminder for everyone.
(I also confess that this series of talks is a "re-sitting" from last year. Well, I guess we are now in "re-runs"! )

And just a reminder: We will also have our monthly 4-hour "Live" sitting this Saturday, 9pm Japan time. Please sit-a-long. That will not be a "re-run".
