I was wondering if anyone here has sat with, or is familiar with Yamada Sensei? He seems to of had an interesting life. I'm curious about his music, as well. Would love to hear it.

The Shiatsu teacher who passed away some years ago? Wild guy, big into psychedelics, kind of a reluctant priest as I understand. Interesting story.
By the way, David, might I trouble you to put an avatar photo of your human face, and also to sign "Sat Today" before you post? There are a couple of ways we keep this place a bit human, look each other in the eye, and also stay centered on sitting Shikantaza here.
Dear Leafers,
Our Forum is meant as a place where Sangha members can discuss honestly and frankly matters of Zen Practice and all of life (not two, by the way). We hope that people here feel the confidence, mutual trust and acceptance to be able to “open up,” drop walls, and talk about any subjects in their lives,
Dear All,
Treeleaf Sangha is a Practice Place centered on the daily Sitting of Shikantaza Zazen. We ask all our members to have sat Zazen sometime in the preceding day (today or yesterday) before posting in this Forum and joining in discussion. Please have "Sat" before any "Chat". gassho1
Also, both as
Will do. Regarding Yamada, yes that's him. I can't really find much about him. He passed away not too long ago, so there have got to be people out there with more to share. I'd love to hear his music, I bet it's interesting. If someone would write a bio on him, I'd be sure to get a copy.
