Can I be a Zen buddhist and still love Kirtan (Hindu and Hare Krishna chanting) and listen to Krishna Das talks?
I love to chant the names of the Gods and the Mantras and I find much wisdom in the Hare Krishna religion.
Knowing that this is very "New Age" and knowing myself as very eclectic in almost everything (so that includes religion) I sometimes feel sort of guilty about this...

Wow, I think you just listed most of my issues!!!!

Id add just two more if I may;

Am I a bad person for not wanting to spend time right now with my partner/child/parent?

Would learning Japanese to read commentaries in Japanese Zen a possible idea? Like is it so difficult (like gandharan) or easier like Pali?
