A big website about Zen, known as Terebess, has made a profile of my Dharma Grandfather, Nishijima Roshi's Teacher and the former Abbot of Eiheiji (and head of Soto-shu) ... Zuigaku Rempo Niwa Zenji.

However, many of the materials actually seem to come from here at Treeleaf, so links will just bring you back. It includes his life story and interviews, calligraphy and artwork, and other things.

Please have a look if you are interested in our family and "roots."

Dokusan?I did Dokusan at Eihei-ji,but just free talk.
In Jomanji and Annonji,we did Dokusan at this style,but we did not use Kyosaku.
In Myotokuji,I did not do Kyosaku.
