first vsit in years, thanks for the "sat today" idea

wow -- took me 4 yrs to notice the change to "sat" before "chat" -- thanks -- it was the "chat" before "sat" that resulted in me drifting away from treeleaf, though not from my daily practice -- and now it appears that i will have the good fortune of moving to silver city, nm, where there is an active meditation community, as well as a zen center.
a big howdy to jundo, and my sitting buddy, shugen ron.

sat today -- actually, for almost all days in the past 45 yrs -- still pretty stupid though

Small world. I came after you left. Sacramento is my hometown and if you release a ballon in Silver City it will probably land on my place to the east. It has been 20 years since I sat over there, was not aware some sitters were still there. Much joy in your new home.

jundo -- you do realize that "Sat Today Police" is initaled STP? -- yeah, didn't take me long to mess up

doshin -- greetings -- sacramento was my adopted home in some very good years of grad school, right around when jerry brown became governor -- i was running some non-profits for homeless folks on skid row, a jobs program for day-laborers, i was very lucky to be part of a good thing -- yeah, silver has a zen center, though not sure how active, and a very active meditation/yoga center, more in the vipassana/ims style -- i'll sit with anyone, long as they're quiet , all the same to me -- we move in to downtown 4/29 -- be glad to connect if you're ever in silver, and i also hike a lot --
