Kyonin, thank your for sharing and for your teaching. It sounds like you and your family are handling it all well. I lost my mother two years ago and it was all a bit of a roller coaster. One moment would seem normal and the next the world would seem a bit upside down. Much Metta to you and your family.

Kyonin... my heart reaches out to you my brother. When our Moms leave this world, I think sometimes it makes you feel like something is missing now.
But, I think, our Moms have planted so many things in us, and others, that just like that sunshine...it helps us smile with the love that is shared.
My Mom died almost 33 years ago, on the 4th of July. I think she wanted to go out with a "bang".
Many things happen in life, expected and unexpected. We allow them to flow through us the best we can.
I didn't know your Mom, and only know you through the Sangha, but I feel the great love you had for her, and I can feel the great love she has for you, by the way you lead your life. I know she's very proud of you.
I know she will live on in your heart, so through you, she'll continue to touch others.
Thank you for your teaching, my dear brother Kyonin. Metta to your family, especially your Dad, May he find peace.
Gassho and hugs

Kyonin,
My condolences on your loss. My mother died almost two years ago. So this is something most of us go through. Thank you for all you do around here.
Kyonin,
My feelings are with you. On the same day you lost your mother, 13 years ago I lost my father.
Thank you very much for sharing this with us and for all your teachings here.
Much metta and love for you.
Gassho,
Mateus
