    Ordination

    Dear brothers and sisters,

After many months of deliberation I can say with some joy and some sadness, that I will be partly leaving this sangha.

In November or December I will be taking Shukke Tokudo/priest ordination with Taikyo Morgans, Jundo’s Dharma great-nephew in Wales here in the UK (at least I still think it is).

I have spoken with Jundo and he has said I can stay part of this online community as I hold all of you very dearly.

    Nine bows to you all,
    Chishou

      Hey Chishou,

I am happy for you. Taikyo is a wonderful friend, and also a wise and caring teacher. I'm sure you'll be quite happy close to him.

Congratulations and please stop by to say hello from time to time.

Oh and say hello to Taikyio. I had a blast working with him in the kitchen

                Dear Chishou,

Please do not "partly leave," and instead "fully stay."

I believe you have a wonderful opportunity and the most excellent guide in our friend (and my "Dharma Grand Nephew" ) Taikyo. You are in very good hands. As we have discussed together a couple of times about your Ordination, I believe that you are making a good choice.

But remember that the road starts here. Get good training. The guide and your other "friends along the way" (please consider me one) can only point a direction. The heavy work is up to you.

Good travels, although you go no place else.

                Gassho, Jundo
