    Hi All,

I told Kakunen he can post here. He is in training as a novice Priest at Myotokuji temple in Japan. As most of you know, he is a regular poster and online sitter with us here at Treeleaf too.

He gets no or very little financial support, and has had a medical emergency requiring him to be looked at in hospital and buy some medications, plus he has his daily living expenses while at the monastery. It is traditional for lay persons to support Buddhist priests in Training, an act with much Karmic Merit, so now is your chance!

    His paypal address is: monk.kakunen@gmail.com

I just saw him during a visit to Tsukuba a few days ago, and he looks like he has been training hard.

If you would like to help out, there is his paypal account. He and I offer you a heartfelt bow.

    From the Dana (Generosity) Sutta:

There is the case of a person who gives a gift not seeking his own profit, not with a mind attached [to the reward], not seeking to store up for himself, nor [with the thought], 'I'll enjoy this after death.' Instead, he gives a gift with the thought, 'Giving is good.' He gives his gift — food, drink, clothing, a vehicle; a garland, perfume, & ointment; bedding, shelter, & a lamp — to a brahman or a contemplative. What do you think, Sariputta? Might a person give such a gift as this?"

    "Yes, lord."

I talk with Muho at Antaiji

                Hi Sangha

                Today is Sesshin day.

But I take a rest, because of my body conditions.

                I talk with Muho today.

I leave Antaiji for 2 and half years ago.

I am very grad to talk with him.

                I don’t know reason why I can’t stop crying.

I can remember hard days at Antaiji.
