Kyonin's Talks on the "Song of the Jewel-Mirror Samadhi" (Hokyo Zanmai)
Thank you Kyonin for this talk, I love the poetry in those lines but you really illuminated them with your unique way of teaching. I also loved 'the symphony of the chainsaw'. I too live in a city (albeit a tiny one) and I have also discovered symphonies in ambient urban sounds. That chainsaw transcended the connotations attached to its name - I heard a calming background chant bringing spaciousness and inner silence.
By the way, I do hope that the 'Multiverse' provides you with a new computer soon.

Here is the third talk on the Hokyo Zanmai. I discuss the following lines:
The meaning is not in the words, yet it responds to the inquiring impulse.
Move and you are trapped; miss and you fall into doubt and vacillation.
Turning away and touching are both wrong, for it is like a massive fire.
Just to depict it in literary form is to stain it with defilement.
What is it all about? Fire? What fire? Lets discover together
