    Adominal breathing helps me with flight/fight type anxiety as does gentle yoga - something about activating the parasympathetic nervous system. Once the amygdala kicks off it is hard to switch it off.

      Alcohol is a great anxiolytic for some. Get pissed before the procedure and it will turn out fine!
