Dear All,
Taigu, Treeleaf Teacher Emeritus and our Brother over at the Blue Mountain White Clouds Hermitage ...
... sends his New Year Greetings to all, good wishes (and advice) for my healing from surgery. He also said that I could announce his new book here ...
Taigu says, "It is just as you can imagine the ten oxherding pictures that I picked up again, in frog 's language this time, to give a view of the Buddhist path."
Recommended to everyone ... even if you don't speak French!
Félicitations Taigu!

STLAH
PS - The one fellow on the Amazon page (LINK) who seems not to care for the book, if I read correctly (thank you Google Translate!) does so on the grounds of its insulting his personal spiritual vision, all in that way tres tres philosophique that only the French can manage, as he writes " ... it is not a matter of learning, but of doing; to die now (if it would never be) to our psyche (which has no reality), to ideas and ideals, to cross (now!) the mirror of appearances ... it is at this price that one reaches the fullness of oneself-really-oneself-immediately-totally-absolutely-oneself, oneself in oneself which one names wakefulness. The stories of buffaloes, Asian or Indian culture, tradition: all this is very respectable, but that's not it. No need to go to India or change your life." Ah, these French intellectuals with their petits petits désaccords! Sounds like a backhanded recommendation of Taigu's book, if you ask me!
