Well, someone will probably add to this and say it's perfectly ok to be lazy amidst laziness but when it's time to work it's time to work! Probably something to do with those darn Boddhisatva vows. [emoji4]

When someone is talking to you, listen. However, you could be driving and talking to someone else. It's still being mindful.
            Right?

            Hi Geerish,

My point is that there is a time to do something and not think of something else, and there is also a time to do something while thinking of something else.

Allow the moment as it is, good or bad, happy or sad or in between. Sometimes be "in the moment", and sometimes one is running around in a panic because late for work, thinking about all the things to do. No problem. So long as one is not falling into excess desire, anger or confusion, no problem.

Yes, sometimes human beings feel resistance to a situation. No problem, particularly if the resistance is natural and appropriate to the situation. If the doctor tells me I am sick, I will feel resistance and try to get better. So long as it is a moderate and appropriate amount of resistance to a situation. it is natural to feel.

Resisting the resistance, however, adds fuel to the emotion, like gasoline on a fire.

ow I need to do big ducision, following Japanese system, following Jundo, following me?...
It does not have to be a choice of Japanese OR Jundo OR me. Sometimes Japanese Sometimes Jundo Sometimes me might best.

Well, probably so. But to penetrate one dharma door is to penetrate them all. So there are no 84,000 doors, not even the one penetrated. This is so confusing.

Jundo, I took your point (and others') to mean this: when drinking tea, just drink tea rather than assuming that drinking tea defines you. When drinking tea, talking, and worrying about the future, then drink, talk, and worry without thinking these things are "you," or that they tell you who you are, or that they somehow tell you what you mean. For me, I don't hear a directive to only be single-minded, but instead to see things as the impermanent phenomena that they are. Just do it, don't attach it.
