Thank you Jundo, Tom, and Tai Shi for a wonderful gathering.

Posting a photo below of our group, including my wife Chris in her Methodist pastor robes.

Tai Shi: I'm sorry we didn't think to get a photo before you left. Please thank your wife as well for her support!

Also a big thanks to Leon for being a good sport tagging along on our activities. Leon is a fantastic young man.

ps thanks Shingen for the kind words on the chanting. Your job is WAY harder than it looks. Props to you and everyone else who does such a nice job leading our services.

I also want to thank Matt, Chris and their daughter for such a lovely, brief time together. To Tai Shi and his wife, for making a long long drive to be there, and for just being who they are. And to Tom, for the most powerful Heart Sutra recitation we have ever had here at Treeleaf. Chris is simply the coolest Methodist minister I have ever met, right down to the nose pierce. Chuck and Tom are golden hearted, and ... it was lovely.

When one travels, it is as one meeting old old friends who I know so well, yet for the first time too.

So Great to be with Banto and Jundo in the mile high city. Great! For five years we lived in Greeley about 60 or so miles from Banto, and there is where our daughter was born, and I began my sober life. Last week I celebrated 30 years sober, and it all began in Colorado, such a beautiful place with 14,000 foot peaks, in the shadow of Pike's Peak, and Long's peak. Such a beautiful time and place for Jundo and Banto as I sat with you.
