    Why?

There are plenty of resources on Zen in Japanese, and English is the common language for people of many countries. We are trying to offer more, and I am hoping that Kyonin will offer more in Spanish.

I went to several temple except a temple for practice like Jyomanji and Tenryuji. Now I feel lots of Monastary and temple is learning school for ceremony.

I do not think Japan is resourceful.

And I sorry I can understand last part because of your English is difficult for me.

And nobody answer me before I asked.

This is very sad thing. No answer is answer?

        Hi Kakunen,

Yes, many monasteries and temples now only about funerals and for ancestors. That is important part of Japanese culture too, but not really Zen or Buddhism.

Please Practice your own Practice. 自身の禅を歩いてください.

Seeing into one's own nature and attaining Buddhahood. (見性成佛)

And this will be good for your study of English too.

We have people at Treeleaf from many countries ... Greek speakers, Swedish and Ukranian, French, German and Spanish speakers and Indians and Japanese, so we must all use English as best we can to communicate. It cannot be helped. 仕方が無い.

So I think Treeleaf do not too much depending native English. And almost person who live in Western countries can speak English well. This is a mistake of education of Japan,so almost Japanese can not understand English.

              I can not say anymore.

              Please respect being.

And another view is different from culture. Please respect other cultures.
And from my experience people at western countries express their opinion by strong way.But Japanese is not such style.

I can not express by words.

I think I want to do more feel other deeply feeling. This is Zen beautiful mind.Sometimes I feel too much strong power here,so sometimes I feel fight with them.

              I can not express them.

              With Nine bows.

There are even speakers of Portuguese, Portunhol (mixture of Portuguese and Spanish), Spanglish (mixture of Spanish and English), Tex-Mex (Mexican Spanish and Texan English) to count a few others. Treeleaf is truly amazing.

Yes, we must all respect other cultures. Zen is no longer Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and is also every place in the world .. every planet in the universe. We respect all sentient beings. Certainly "Soto Zen" is not only Japanese now.

                    Past time Dogen said
Buddha eat by hand ,but we in Japan use chopsticks. This is not a meaning, not respect Buddha.

                      Hi Mr. K,

I do not speak Japanese. Only Spanish, very basic Japanese, and English is sometimes hard for me. But I still sit zazen and practice our Buddhist ways.

Zen is a lot more than words and culture. Is about silence and respect for life.
