Wherever you buy, if you get a kapok-filled cushion you can periodically top-up the filling to keep it firm.

We don't have a particular place we recommend "officially." There are many good suppliers online. I would buy perhaps from one of the recognized Buddhist items shops in America, since you live there. There was this thread awhile back. Many folks seem to recommend Dharmacrafts as reliable, although maybe there can be lower price ones found online here and there ...

I got mine from DharmaCrafts. They have nice stuff and seem to be a decent company.

Still Sitting is another great option! I’ve bought from them too.
