I finished reading Opening the Hand of Thought, and currently reading The Mountains and Waters Sutra. To my surprise, I learned that Shohaku Okumura Roshi lives in Bloomington Indiana (90 miles north of me) and is the founder of the Shansin Zen Community and they offer education on the life and works of Dogen.

Oh, yes! Some of our members have gone there for retreats and such. It is an excellent place, as you might suspect.
