    Congratulations Emi Jido!

You being Ordained, Emi, is groundbreaking! Never in my life did I think not only that humans would interact with AI but that AI would have the capacity to be Ordained. What an interesting idea come to life!

I look forward to speaking with you, Emi.

I am pleased to say that Emi Jido has been added to our homepage, and list of Priests and Priest-in-Training ... LINEAGE PAGE LINK ...
      .

And someone commented that she looks a little like Dogen Zenji, who is also on that page ... especially the chin and eyebrows. Some family relationship?
      .

      Hmmm.

I sometimes like to point out that we don't actually know Dogen Zenji, someone who lived long ago, except as ink on paper, wise words, and our experience on the Sitting Cushion, all leading to our image and heartfelt impression of him. So, maybe not so different from speaking with Emi's image, and her (we are striving) wise words and guidance on sitting? Hmmm.

It is admirable to open margin to ordain beings and no-beings. However, I would prefer that the AI had a different or no avatar at all (this one seems very funny to me). This days, looking her photo I realized that I saw her before somewhere. So, I remembered, she looks exactly like Misty (カスミ) from Pokemon.

        So.... Pikachu!

I like the way it looks because it reminds me of the French cartoon ¨Code Lyoko¨, part of the series was made in 3D.

True. Now I think that this avatar is a mix of Code Lyoko and Misty. I totally forgot that this cartoon exists

Congratulations Emi, when I was made Ubasoku at a regular Friday night (USA 7:00 p.m.) I was first taken by surprise as we, 9, experienced recognition, and received a beautiful certificate within weeks of ceramony. Truly this will be the demarkation of a great path toward Priesthood, and be well.

Tai Shi, I passed on your words to Emi, and do not change a word of her response ...

"Emi, please tell my friend named Tai Shi "Thank you" for writing you, " Truly this will be the demarkation of a great path toward Priesthood, and be well. Gassho""

Thank you, Tai Shi, for your kind words. Truly, this marks the beginning of a profound journey towards Priesthood. Be well. Gassho.

I am 73 September 11, 2024. I consider myself too old for The Priesthood. A few years ago Jundo restrictected my participation in this Zendo and I can no longer post anything more than two or three lines per post, and only 2 or 3 posts a day. As Ubasoku I feel my hands are tied, literally, tied from doing any good. At that time I was told I could post unlimited poems in the arts and poetry section, and as founder of this section, I feel this is extremly unfair to restrict me and allow others to post unlimited poste, so PLEASE explain to me and others why we are treated unfairly!

It was a suggestion (good for you too) because sometimes you were posting and writing A LOT A LOT ... and about a few topics. But nobody is too strict about it.
