For 14 years I have followed Jon Kabot-Zinn’s techniques for pain attenuation and reduction. I have finally found that my pain tolerance has grown a little, but, mostly, I must now live with my pain! I consulted with two more doctors and my pain will not just go away. I am now learning to deal with my pain relying completely upon my beautiful Marjorie, and my doctors. There is not just any one thing that will help. So, the ideas in the Book How to be Sick are completely useful and as part of Ango I will be revisiting this book and listening intently to its author!
