    Time zone

I'm sorry, but I'm curious about the time zones in the list for finding a comfortable zazen session. There isn't a single city or region in Russia on this list to help you navigate, and there are 11 time zones. I assume this is due to political reasons related to the war. Personally, I am against any wars, as are many people living in Russia, but due to the repressive measures, many are afraid to express their disagreement. As the head of a channel dedicated to Zen Buddhism, I can confidently assure you that there are many Zen practitioners in Russia. However, I was surprised by this lack, which I believe may be due to political bias. My goal is to make it easier for practitioners in Russia to find their way.

    Hello Ivan,
no political reasons, we are embracing all serious practitioners around the world from wherever they come.
It is just that you are the first asking this question
I have added Moscow to the Practice Calendar list, does that work for you?

edit: Looking a little deeper into it, I have added some more, which seem to be recognized by the google api.
I have put a review of Eastern Europe on my To Do list. There is more, outside of Russia, missing.

    Gassho,
    Kotei sat/lah today.

Hi, Ivan.. There are no political considerations when it comes to our scheduling of events. There is at least one morning sit that works for you, which is 7:30 am CET. In the evening, you have another one at 8pm CET and on Sundays, our weekly zazenkai is at 9:30 CET or 9 CET once a month.
Please have a look here at our Practice Opportunities and on the Practice Calendar, just adjust the time zone to your time .

Does that help clarify things a bit?

EDIT : I posted at the same time as Kotei

Yes, no political considerations. We just have people in so many time zones that we put a few major cities (Los Angeles, New York, London, Paris) and as people to do the math if they are somewhere in between. If there are 11 times zones in Russia, we cannot put them all!

I see that Kotei now added Moscow to our calendar.

No politics. All people are welcome to come in peace and friendship.

I am very grateful to you for this! I have already sent an invitation on my YouTube channel for participants to actively join online zazen sessions in Treeleaf Zendo. If respected Kotei can add such cities as Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Irkutsk, Chita and Vladivostok, then it will be fabulously wonderful. These cities all have their own time zones.
