'The ZEN of EVERYTHING! Podcast' ... Episode 25 ... Sitting with Pain

    Episode 25: Sitting with Pain

Sitting meditation can be painful for a lot of people. Jundo and Kirk discuss how to sit without pain, or how to accept the pain when sitting.

Thank you for the episode, I very much enjoyed it, and recently I've gotten flexible enough to actually sit for about half an hour in the full lotus. One thing I do wonder is during a full lotus how engaged are the leg muscles generally? I feel more sturdy and comfortable when they're engaged, but it does get a little tiring, however if I relax it too much my ankle bends at a weird angle and my shin bones crunch together. Those minor pains do remind me to be present though, so there's that!
